I just picked up this SK set on Ebay for $72.00 shipped with submit an offer. I have never seen SK tools come in a blue case. All of the other ones I have seen are green. Wonder if this is new from Ideal/SK?

I would say no for two reasons. First, The case has the older SK inside a diamond logo. Secondly, the set number isn't listed on the current SK website.
I have seen SK sets in Blue, Black, and Green Blow Molded cases. Nice looking set though.

Yeah, and the set is listed as "obsolete" at this seller's site.

Coincidence, though, as that blue is very close to the blue used by Ideal on their fish tapes & so forth...

Are SK ratchets any good? I'm looking to pick up a set

I have 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 SKs that I use pretty often and they have survived so far. I also have a screwdriver set that I am very pleased with although my #2 phillips broke on me taking out a screw (in the drivers defense it was a screw on a '71 Chevelle trim piece that hadn't been off since the day it rolled off the line) granted I was using it T-bar style (another screwdriver through the hole in the handle) but it happens. As for all the other SK stuff I have I haven't ever had to warranty it.
