Hey everyone,

I just bought my first house and with the snow I notices water is pooling along the inside wall and baseboard instead of run to the center of the garage where there is a drain.
Any suggestion....I am looking for permanent solutions.
What is the process to slope it?

grinding is about the only "permanent" one, as all the others will be sprayed/layed or attached....and will eventually fail.

A laser Level will give you some idea if it will require a little or a lot, ie you may be able to grind a high spot or a channel to divert that which is collecting, as opposed to the whole slab. Grinding can be expensive and labor intensive. And in the wrong hands, one of the things that can make things worse as well.

My comments are based on my time grinding race track surfaces.

Best of luck
