Slot Drain Installed in Minnesota

I need to have a slot drain installed in my garage floor to handle the snow melt in the winter. The floor is concrete, of course.

Ideally, I'd like to find someone who has experience in installing these things. I called one manufacturer, hoping to get the name of an installer, and they didn't know of anyone.

I know I can call someone who does concrete work. But again, I'd sure like to find someone who has done these drains before.

Any suggestions? I tried a craigslist Ad. No luck there either.

From MN as well! Where in MN?

I would assume you would need to cut the concrete out for the drain plus the plumbing to get the water outside. Then you would have to pour concrete to close in the drain piping.

The concrete will indeed need to be cut but slot drains don't use any plumbing. The drain would exit the slab and daylight onto the grass. At least that is the way I think it will work.

What system are you looking at? I might be able to help you but I need to know what I am dealing with.
