Yes been a member for years, my user name there is "luvmyferris" joined when I was looking for info on zero turns but find the mechanics section (or whatever that section is called) very useful in keeping my mowers running.

I'm a member there, but getting answers is like pulling teeth sometimes.
There are at least three good lawnmower sites, but most pros and experienced shadetrees no longer spend the time to help the far-too-many numbnuts who only come on board when their mower won't start; then not understanding the basics, don't understand the recommendations and even if successful, never return.

this brings back memories of junior high school shop class. for extra credit i completely disassembled a lawn mower engine and reassembled it. i don't know who was more shocked, my instructor or me that it started after the first pull.

Lawnsite was/is supposed to be a forum for people in the "green industry" in some form. I never spent any time on the mechanic forum. Usually just on heavy equipment or truck/ trailer. So one would expect that some topics might not get a lot of interest. But it is a great resource if you're involved in the landscape, maintenance, or excavation business.
