Anyone out there heard of this tool. It resembles a Channel Lock pliers and has this stamped on it "Snap-Off U.S.A
G272"
It is a quality tool. I asked the area Snap-On rep and he knew nothing about it. Just guessing but I'd say its at least 30 maybe 40 years old.

I wonder if it was made by the Wilde Tool company; there is a set of pliers that has part of the part # you have listed We might be on to something; check it out here: http://www.wildetool.com/cat-4.cfm
There is one listed as a Wilde TONGUE & GROOVE PLIER part # G272P-NP on that page.

Billy - That was fast. I think you found it. Like the one on Wilde web page, mine is 12 3/4" long, has 7 adjustments, has red grips. Sounds like they make tools for other companies. Maybe Snap-Off went out of business or changed their name. I think I will email Wilde and see what they say. Thanks again, you cleared up a mystery.

here you go. Just stick this on your tool box and they can all be Snap -off.

I had great success with such signs if you set a filament change between layers and print the top part in white. Painting can be messy but this way is really clean.

Unfortunately, Lucas Froeschl is no longer with Wilde.
I'm guessing he would be the one to know the answer to this, but it appears to be something of a no-brainer.
Those are Wilde part numbers on those specimens. And I'll bet they've all got nut-and-bolt fasteners - not rivets.

There are multiple registered trademarks for some variation if “Snap-Off” or “Snap off”.
Some of the trademarks list tools, other don’t list the product category, and other are for items where the trademark owner might have supplied tools, or had tools branded to sell or hive out to product users.
All of the most likely candidates seem to be dead listings, so it us gully possible a trademark got filed, accepted, then Snap-On sued or applied pressure to get the Trademark killed.
