I've had my CTR867 brushless long-neck 3/8 for about 6 months. It has begun slipping under load, and the rear reversing lever doesn't sit quite flush in the bore. It's under warranty, so I shipped it in. Anyone know the rough turn-around for this? My dealer guessed 4 weeks. :(

I'm thinking about getting a 3/8 standard length M12 FUEL to tide me over. That way I have another form-factor tool, plus it can cover me a bit in the mean-time.

I looked through the parts diagram, but putting new washers alone for the front of the head was over $100. So I figured I aught to just warranty it and have them replace anything/everything.

I don't remember exact turn around times when I was sending my 14.4 V junk in all the time but I do/did have doubles of most of the stuff because one was always out for warranty work it seemed like. Not real speedy turn around time from what I remember. 4 weeks sounds about normal from what I recall.

Haven't had to worry about it since I went to all M12.

Go and get a 70 dollar pneumatic one. Doesn't the snap on dealer have a loaner? For the dough they want I think they should.

I really like this ratchet and the form factor of the head which is what made me get it over the M12 3/8

I have an impacting air ratchet. Issue is the long-neck form factor. He has a loaner... out on loan. LOL
