This is a GREAT DEAL for someone looking for a quality toolbox that will last a lifetime. This toolbox is LIKE NEW with no scratches or dents. It has not been in a shop setting at all and has only been used to store my rarely used tools in my garage with the cover on it the entire time I have owned it.
It is a Snap On, Roll Cab, Double Bank with 13 Drawers. The color is Ultra Yellow.

I think the asking price is about right, the problem you will run into just like I did, was most people can't afford to pay cash. It is too easy for a guy to pay $75 a week to the tool truck at 20% interest. I had several people want mine for $3800 but could not come up with that much money.

Have a quality box to pass down to your grandson! Snap On is made with quality, design, endurance and functionality in mind! I am asking less than this box is worth. Other posters claim that my box is worth less by comparing them to other boxes that are less money. Well, there is a reason they are less... It is apples to oranges because those boxes ARE NOT THE SAME box at all. The boxes that have been linked to are great Snap On boxes but they are not the KRL1022. The KRL1022 is known for it's details and design. If you look closely, you can see the differences but then check snap on's site or other sites (like the one below) and look at the specs on all three boxes.

I paid exactly a quarter of the new price for my box. Granted, it's a KRA, couple years old and the odd ding or scratch here and there, but they do lose value. It's worth what someone who really wants it will pay. I would've be willing to pay more for mine if i had the money, lucky for me i didn't need to!

As for paying all in one go, it is hard which makes weekly payments so attractive. For me, i just worked like a mofo for three weeks. (yep, just 3 weeks and i still paid the bills and rent during them.) to pay for a box, and this one came along.

I'd love to fill a shipping container with used (good to excellent condition) SO chests & trolleys and resell them over here. Probably could make a good living doing it. I just don't have the kahunas to do it.

I have really thought about building my own chest/workbench, since I am into woodworking. It would also grab MUCH less attention in my neighborhood, then a big Snap~on box, in a small garage build for a model A or T.
Several people over the years have tried to get me to buy a larger box (didn't take long to fill up my first Craftsman that is taller then me). They made payments on boxes, I bought tools. I only know one mechanic, who was smart enough to buy the big box, AFTER buying all the tools. It was a selling his shop/retirement present, for his tools that were going home.
I have a few years till that yet. LOL

Thanks Spidergrearsman, I really did not expect to sell it here, though I would like to and then maybe see it in someone's garage set up posted on this site! I am aware that the chances of someone in my area would be on this site looking for a box like mine are slim. I just thought that the people here would know it and appreciate it, I guess. The thing is too, it has not really been used. It has been a decorative tool "holder" you could say sitting under a cover in my garage. You could store food in it and use the top to eat off of, it is that clean! To know it went to a working garage would be awesome.

This KRL1022 is still available. New on Snap On site it lists for over $7000.
The steel top lists for over $600 and the custom cover lists for over $160.

Mine has all of that with rubber liners, keys and it is clean enough to eat on the top!

Man, the problem isn't that your box isn't worth what you're asking, it's that this isn't the best time economically to be coming up with $3500 in cash. That is a very good box, and I hope you get what you want out of it.
