I wanted to what year this came out and also how much value this item is worth. I attached an image. Seen one on eBay for sale it was marked high so I just wanted some feed back.

Notice the locking pin on the drive stud. That was something usually found on tools snapon supplied to industrial customers. Snap on has made that ratchet in one form or another since like 1930. Not worth alot as a collectors item, probably 50 to 75$. Snapon briefly supplied them to sears in 30s as the craftsman cf-87, which can go for 300 or more,

How would I go about finding out if this is apart of the cf-87

No yours is a much later snapon industrial version. Here is the craftsman version. It's got a big "z" owners mark, and the stamp is a bit worn down, but it is 90 years old.
