I already have a Snap-on PWCS7CF wire stripper/cutter/crimper. SO still sells the PWCS7CF (12-20 AWG) and now also sells the PWCSS7CF (14-24 AWG).

The length of both tools is equivalent. The PWCS7CF is a black colored metal while the PWCSS7CF appears to be a lighter colored metal with a clear coating applied. In addition to the differing wire gauge capacities are there any other differences?

I have both and they are the same metal color. Same as all other snap on pliers. Just wire gauge stripping size is the only difference. I bought one for the shop and one for the road and bought the different ones by accident. Just picked them up off the truck. Both do their job quite well. It's nice in the road bag because you can carry less tools. Cutters, crimper and stripper.
