can someone provide a picture of a snap-on round head ratchet body taken out of the ratchet handle next to a ruler or measure the size of the ratchet body. I really would like to know the size and dimensions of the fn100 ratchet body, or any other snap-on round head ratchet. I haven't seen the ratchet body dimensions on snap-on's website. any pics that a fellow GJ member could provide would be extraordinarily helpful :)

You need a sdd6 hard handle for a 3/8".You will have to drill the hole larger on a drill press. Then you just heat up the soft grip in a pot of near boiling water and pull it off in a vise.Line up the new hard handle and give it a couple good wacks with a dead blow.Hope this helps,I have done this many times.

EDIT: I just looked up the fn100 and it does not have a soft grip handle, the steps above are only for ratchets with the soft grip installed from the factory.

no, this is a different kind of handle swap. I want to see what other brand ratchet handles will fit the ratchet body. if things go as planned I would like to make a franken-ratchet.
