Do any of you use these reciprocating-style T-handle wrenches? Do they work well? I was doing valve covers on a Subaru today and thought something like this could be useful in that it has the reach of a long wrench but doesn't require the swing room to ratchet it.

I have not used them, but ordered a 1/4" one the other day. We are doing pylon inspections and replacing the pins if they fail on a bunch of aircraft. We have to take isolation blocks off of the fuel and hydraulic tubing running through there to get the pins out. Not a fun job and if this wrench works out for it, it is money well spent and I will get the other sizes to complete the set in SAE.

We've got them in our boxes in the hangars. Don't need them very often, but when you do, the are a tremendous time saver.

That was our go-to tool to R&R the Hydromechanical Unit (HMU) on GEAE’s CF6-80C2 FADEC gas turbine engine. A real time saver as HMU MTBR was abysmal early on. Can’t say I’ve had recent need of the tool since but it clearly stood out in my memory when I clicked on the link.
