Is this a good price for this toolbox? I emailed the seller for more specs, nothing yet.

Toolboxes aren't selling for big bucks in this economy. Offer him $1500 cash...he might reject it right away...but after awhile that might start looking good to him. I bet you could get that for $1800 or less if you play your cards right.

Snap On may have reffered to it as a "Vintage" box because of the style decals they used inside the top lid and on the bottom drawer.

I happen to checkout your website in you signature line and the toolboxes seem to be very nice. Where are they made?

I recently bought a used KRL1003 and one of the boxes on the website appears to be very much like mine.

I'm a cheap SOB, so I say offer him $1000 in 10 one hundred dollar bills dangled in front of his face. Have a couple others in another pocket in case you have to up the offer if you really want it. Times are tough, and cash money talks loudly...

Check out vendor and product reviews, I just bought one of their 72 inch extreme boxes.

Its about the average asking price for that model that I've seen on kijiji.May be able to dicker him down some.Theres a pretty good flee market in stoufville where that box is located.Used to go there on sat and sun when I lived in Toronto.Used to be a guy setup there called john's tools. He had a huge amount of gear for sale, good quality stuff, snappy, mac, proto etc.Had roll cabinets full of gear you could open the drawers and look through em (under supervision).Went there last summer when I was up for a visit and some of the other vendors said he past away.Damn shame he was a good old guy to deal with once he got to know you.

So many people ask crazy prices for their toolboxes....but ads that you see on Craigs List, Kijiji or eBay have no bearing on what actually changes hands.

To answer the question of the OP, NO it is not a good price.

A good deal would be about $1300-1400 Canadian. A few hundred more would still be fair for you as a buyer. Any more you should keep looking. For $2,500 Can. you should be getting a KRL series box.
