I acquired an old snap-on WB200 manual crank wheel balancer, unknown condition. It lights up, and when I crank the wheel The green light flashes and buzzes when starting and ending like it's supposed to, but The three different pickup wheels I've tried I'll come back with 2.5 oz required inside and outside, only about 2 in away from each other indicated, Even after I add the 2.5 oz it's asking for. Flipping the switch to grams changes it to 70 g, which is right. Also, the indicator lights for fine and static mode over on the left do not light up no matter what I do. I have read the manual, and have tried mounting the wheels in various ways mentioned on this forum, and I'm able to see that the edge of the rim itself isn't wobbling at all. I'm not sure if 2.5 oz is just the maximum weight it can indicate, and I've got a real physical balance problem, or if there's something else going on. Any ideas?

I have the exact same issue as you are experiencing and am unable to get it into calibration mode due to the Fine and Static mode lights never coming on when trying to switch modes with the Diameter dial control. All my other issues are identical to yours. Were you ever able to find a solution to your the original problem as I would love to know as I am experiencing the identical issue as you describe! thansk much!!
