I picked up these three for $1 each, just because. Actually, I know better, because the last time I replaced rawhide faces, they were more than the hammer was worth.
They're similar, but slightly different designs. The larger one on the left is a MAC, center is a Blue Point and smaller on the right is a Stanley.
Any ideas as to where to buy the faces? Most later designs have a threaded stud on the face which screws into the hammer head. These have a solid stud on the head.
I can turn some plastic/lead/brass on the lathe and drill the center, but they must have been catalog items back when.
