Hello again!
I came here a couple weeks (months?) ago regarding the slippery floor in our labs where I work. Y'all gave me some great suggestions, and I have been given clearance from my boss to find a new contractor. I emailed the old one, as directed by my boss, and never heard from him so goodbye Mr. Old Contractor.
Because I am not from the area and know few people in the state, I am unable to rely on word of mouth.
I have been searching for someone who specializes in epoxy or concrete floors instead of a general contractor who happens to do epoxy. It has been a challenge thus far.
I have found 2 companies and would very much appreciate your opinions:
1. Liquid Floors - (my top choice)
I was impressed at the knowledge of Liquid Floors just on their website. They are not associated with BBB, so they have no rating, but I called them and the fellow I talked to was very nice. He said he could have someone out for a quote quickly.
2. Carolina Flooring Specialists - They have an A+ BBB rating and also specialize in floors. For some reason, I feel good about them. They website seems informative enough to give them a call.
When the men come to give a quote, I will document a detailed report of how to help our floors. And then I will report back here for more advice.
I feel a little helpless in this situation because I am so clueless about floors, so I am extremely grateful for your advice.
In payment once again, here is my little beauty Bella:
Bells decided to take a break over lunch and watch the neighbor work in his garage
And I found a "surprise" on my pillow last night when I was getting in bed
