spinco 1" sq drive air impact tool

Anyone ever heard of a Spinco air impact ?...........I suspect it may be a Taiwanese copy of an IR .........I bought a pallet lot of them maybe 40 years ago,now .......Anyhoo,they didnt work ,they would turn ,but not hammer .........I saved two of them ,still have them ,a standard length and an extended shaft ........the extended would do dual wheels on my old crane ,and it did work well enough to remove the wheel nuts and do them up again..........The standard ones simply would not work as impact guns.

Checked the companies records..Spinco Air Tools was in business from 1993 to 2010 ,and just a local importer of Taiwan made tools etc....so no help there .....................anyhoo,got out the extended anvil one ,its a bit crusty ,nothing terminal ,and now for the short nose one ............thought struck me ,the inlet fitting is 1/2pipe,and I was using Nitto 3/8 couplings ......maybe not enough airflow.?........Anyhoo,I have a lot more time for this stuff now.

Small update .....actually a copy of a CP 797 1" impact ........an exact copy , as CP rebuild kit parts fit............there must be some about ,or maybe just thrown away when it doesnt work proprly ...... also sold in the US under several names including Dayton 4CA50
