Spot the Difference Vintage Vise Grips

What is the difference between these? They look similar both single lever with same pat dates by why the price difference. I looked and still do not understand. It can not be just bidding war.

Mostly its condition, the high priced one was the best, the low priced one was more of a user than collectible.
