SPX Stone or Bendpak/Ranger power unit?

I may need to replace the outdated power unit on my 2 post 9K lb lift. Bendpak sells the Ranger brand, but I hear SPX Stone Fenner is good.

Preferences?

I bought the SPX. It was a direct fit replacement for the original Chinese import my 10k Bendpack came with, and didn’t cost as much. The motor fried on the original, and isn’t serviced separately. (Surprise, surprise).

One of the other lift retailers (maybe Best Buy) had the best price at the time.

Thanks. My power unit is no longer made, it's an older USA made by Applied Hydraulics that was based in Dallas. Parts are virtually non existent.
