I suppose black is okay under concrete but I prefer clear on inside walls and ceiling so I can readily see where the studs and joist are for laying up the sheet goods. On walls I use 4 mil, under a floor pour it depends on the rest of the prep but if it will be directly under foot for the cement pour (placement) then 6 mil or even 10 mil deserves consideration.
