Starting to fabricate a chop saw table. Doesn't look like much yet, but will have tread plate, electric, air (from the pan compressor I never use anymore), and receiver tubes on all four sides, to slide in a vice, and material holder and catcher to assist in cutting steel. Put in led lights. Will likely get way out of hand before I finish it. Chris

That stand is massive, I beams and all!!!
Hope you have plenty of room to park it when not in use.
I'm always looking for fold up space saving stands...3 cars in a 3 car garage during the winter makes for tight storage space in my corral.

lookin' good so far 
i wish i had the room to have a table that size. my garage is even smaller at 19x22. wintertime it gets cramped in there with the wifes car, my harley, my s-10 blazer, 2 sets of SO boxes, welder and small workbench.
i moved small workstands and all my side boxes into my basemnt reloading room for winter storage,
i even sold my plasma cutter and cart to make room
my original welding table was 4'x8', all steel, it's down to approx 2'x4', and i managed to loose the top somewhere along the line.
it's sitting outside the garage now, covered in rust, along with my bench grinder stand
maybe one of these days, if the old lady ever goes back to work, i can build a bigger garage, or find another rental/shop space that i can afford.

You should cut a hole in the top of the table, inlet the saw into the table top, and build a guide shoot to drop most of the slag into the catch barrel under the table. I did this and it worked nicely to keep debris from flying everywhere.
Have receiver hitches in the center on all four sides, just under the table top. I am going to build a quick attach/detach plate for the dewalt chop saw to bolt on to. The chop saw deck will be at the same height as the table top so the entire length of the tabe top will support the material to be cut and all level with the chop saw deck. I am also setting up a vise the same way that can be placed on any of the four sides and locked in place (as could the chop saw). So imagine the chop saw stuck into the end of the table that is closest to you in the picture above. I agree on the catch barrel idea.
I have a welding table already, so I had to come up with another name for this. But I would have to agree with you, probably really is more of a welding table on wheels. I can't wait til the weekend I am going to fabricate the vice and chop saw quick attache and quick detach mounts for the receivers on the chop/welding table. Chris

Thats a nice heavy duty table for your chop saw.
I have the same chop saw and I decided to fab a platform that is attached to the saw and fold up under my welding table and when in use it is level with the top of the table. This allows the table to be used as support for cutting long stock.
