Storage Ideas - Big Items

Anyone have good ideas for storing some items that usually take up a lot of floor space?

My example is:
Seldomly used push lawnmower
Snowblower
Table Saw
Compound Miter Saw (This could go on a shelf I suppose)
Big red wagon
Smoker grill

I'm trying to clear floor space, and these items are taking up a 1/3 of my 3rd stall.

A shed? I built one just to get all that big, non car related stuff out of my garage to give me room to work. And I have a second garage that will become the wood shop over the next year (I hope).

I have pallet racking that I got used, cheap cheap. Best decision I ever made. Wish i had pics here. I will have to get some.

They take up a little space on the floor but I can put a snowmobile up there if I had a forklift . . . or a ramp

I would suggest the pallet racks as well unless you do not have the means of placing heavy items on the upper shelves. Even lighter items can be a task with out a good platform ladder or a stair system to be able to use your arms to carry the item and not have to worry about descending the ladder.
I built a multi level shelve system to hold my lawn tractor furniture and related items for winter and then switch it over to the snowmachines and snow blower etc for the summer. It is 10' x 5' for each shelf and can hold approx 1000# for each shelf as well and when I need to load / unload the shelf I lower the shelf to the floor and do my thing. It is free standing but can be attached to the wall for additional support.

I got the lightweight style pallet racking from a contractor supply....i think its ONLY rated at 400lbs per shelf without the extra bracing. Sets up in 2,4 or 8' sections... it was fairly resonable.

A completely seperate utility shed. There is nothing in my workshop other than tools & ongoing projects.
