48548, what is the part # on the Proto?

I just checked the price I paid for the proto was 17.46 on about june of this year with no shipping from grainger and their part number is 1Ah61 or proto 5248S but that doesn't come up there site, but the grainger number does.

I guess the price went up because it is now 27.75.

BTW I typed in J5248S on grainger's site and it came up

Seems like the 1/2" drive might limit you to larger socket sizes, no?

Hasn't been an issue for me. I use it to speed up assembly of things before I break out the torque or big wrench for the final tighten (I had nice sets of Mac 6-point deep impact sockets that I kept handy on the bench with that rat that went down pretty small).

Beyond that I'd switch to the 1/4 drive.
