The exhaust pipe supports for my water heater and furnace are janky and I want to get it cleaned up. The smaller pipe is 4.5" OD, bigger looks like 5.5" OD.

What spacing should the supports be? It's been like this for 20 years, so it's working.

My thought was a few swivel rings, threaded rod and Sammys into the joists

The wire is going into some wiremold as part of this and I want to also clean up the tape "firestop" at the ceiling

Any suggestions?

I'd normally just cut down an S or a Drive to whatever length I need and screw it on there.
I normally use those hangers for hanging cast iron .
