Hey all,

I live in Cincinnati and wanted to through out the idea of a garage openhouse I know that some other folks on the board have done this. I would be happy to host at the rats nest of a garage I occupy, but maybe someone wants to open up their garage, or meet somewhere in the middle. Let me know if there is any interest and we can go from there!

I would be up to come, I live on the east side of Cincy. We only have a 2-car attached for our daily drivers, otherwise I would offer to host.

Where are you located in Cincinnati?

Wow, that is really close. I live in a subdivision off of Branch-Hill Guinea. How did you guys find the site? What kind of interest brings you to the Garage Journal? i.e. cars, motorcycles, woodworking?

Im not sure which one of us yahoos found this site. I spend more time on it that craigs list searching for snap on stuff!! As far as what interests are, I can only say, if it smokes and makes noise, im interested. We dont really have any cool billion dollar cars we are restoring, unless a $200 audi we couldnt pass up counts! Eric and I have run VWs (9 at last count over the years) but have an appreciation for anything mechanical, esp. German...
A long interest in woodworking, building, etc. Im finishing my basement as we speak, Teaching myself how to make metal stick together, ( i wont go as far as to call it welding...) Just general gear heads is about all I can say. We are off of Price Road.

That's funny that you mention sticking metal together, I am taking a class at Live Oaks on Saturdays to learn to weld....properly.
I guess I would fall under the same category of, if it smokes and makes noise, I like it.
I have a 2001 Mustang, and that is where most of my automotive interest lies. But, I have always liked 4 wheelers and rail buggies, although I have never owned a rail. Right now the majority of my interest lies in the house that my wife and I bought in March. I keep making too many projects for myself.

I have been meaning to take that class for about the last three years. I just always seem to have something going on. Let me know if its worth it. I thought about finally doing it this winter when the basement is finished. Are you doing the 2x week or 1x week class?

Hey all, I,m in the Mason area. Just have a 2 car to work in. I have a 60' Falcon and Secretary of the local Falcon Chapter. I'm interested on how the class on welding turns out. I've been tempted to take it quite a few times, but always late on pulling the trigger. See ya! Terry Rakes
