Just picked up a Blue Point TFM-428 bubble flaring tool, and curious how it compares with standard brake line flaring kits. Do certain vehicles require a bubble flare? Thanks!

Today, there are probably more cars and light trucks out there having Bubble Flare lines then the old inverted. I guess if one makes his own steel lines and is Old School, he'd probably want this set. Since the invent of the bubble ends, adaptor fittings , unions and. Such, in most cases the DIY or installer will use such adapters with standard inverter flare line. it's just more convenient.

Any learning curve to using this style set vs a standard, or will it be basically the same?
