I have a TeMac Band Saw that was made by the Tester Manufacturing Co in Iron River, WI. I was wondering if anybody knows anything about the history of these saws, like what years where they made etc. Here are some pics of it.

Cool saw, looks like a Greenlee, wonder if they bought them out. I would think they'd be a little tougher on blades than most horizontal saws, since they twist the blade 90 degrees.

Ya, I have seen a couple of Greenlees that looked similiar now that you mention it. I know what you mean about the 90 degree twist in the blade. I've had it for over 20 years now and use it quite a bit, I think I've only had 1or maybe 2 blades break. They usually last until they get dull.
