Temporary Mount For Stationary Air Compresor.

Anybody done this?

Thinking about getting a 60 gallon air compressor for a couple of quicker projects, but not decided where I want it to reside permanently.

Just want it stand still while operating. Wood, small poured concrete slab?

I’ve had my former 80 gallon and my current 60 gallon bolted to the pallet they shipped on since 1998. I never had issues with it moving when running.

I had a 60 gal just standing on its built in feet for years

A pallet will work fine. My compressor has been attached to the original shipping pallet for over 50 years. It's a Grainger branded unit with a 60 gallon vertical tank and a Champion pump.

Yep pallet works fine, I trimmed the pallet down at the new place to fit in the corner, but it's been on there for over 20 years

My last one stayed on its pallet for its whole life. The new one is on hockey pucks.

Mine's been sitting on a couple pieces of plywood with casters underneath it for the last ten years. It doesn't move any when it runs.
