TEMU Headlamp, LED based, is excellent

I had never ordered anything from TEMU but I wanted to see what all of the fuss was about.

I ordered three of these LED headlamps.

I own other headlamps, but more often than not I find myself holding a flashlight between my teeth while using both hands to work. This is mostly because I misplace my headlamps and am trying to solve a problem in a hurry.

The TEMU headlamps with LED are great! USB rechargeable, the price is right so you can buy multiples of them to place around the home and shop.

My only tiny gripe is that the battery doesn’t last longer but this is just a minor complaint due to me not being the best at charging them after use.

The form factor, high comfort level, and light weight are perfect for use in many situations.

Highly recommended.

I stay away from Temu, Alibaba and the other direct PRC marketing sites and buy my PRC **** from Amazon as it was intended.
I got a two pack of what appears to be the same headlamp called Hyper Dolphin rechargeable head lamp after reading a Hagerty article that mentioned them for like $12 for the pair. it's very lightweight, bright, and the price is right. Each headlamp included a USB charging cable. If I get a year out of one, I'm happy

If I knew it was on Amazon I would have ordered it out of convenience.

I kept hearing of Temu and wanted to see what it was about.

This product has not disappointed. In fact, it is better than my other headlamps which cost multiples more.

C'mon, no fun talking about Temu items, without divulging the price. :)

Looks like nice lights.

I have 2 of these and love them. Wore one almost all day today (doing carpentry demo- working in dark corners of my barn). These are especially good for automotive. Reason: the touchless on/off and flood pattern, with no bright spot. The touchless on-off I thought was a gimmick. What I like about it is that I can easily turn it on and off, extending the battery life. Only down side is it's sensitive and anything that gets near it turns the light off. So if your head is in a space restricted area, your light keeps going on. But you can set it to stay on. Just have to push a button.

The flood pattern is a game changer. I have other headlights. If you buy a powerful headlight that has a lot of lumens, it's a spot light for campers. Within a few feet its a blinding, all obscuring white ball of light that is completely unhelpful.

The other one I like is the streamlight bandit. Only down side, it's a little box like a Tefillin (look it up) that's kind of annoying. But you can clip it to the brim of your ball cap. I may attach one permanently to my hardhat, which I should have worn today and didn't. (dumb ***)

I was curious about Temu. I ordered 3-4X, using my alternate Email account. Low end stuff. Some stuff good, some so-so, some not so good. That's about what I expected. Constantly getting bombarded with emails. I'm glad they are easy to delete.

I just wanted to bump this thread with another solid recommendation for this style of headlamp. I don't use them often, but they kick *** when needed. I just replaced a starter with my only light source being the headlamp. I had my Astro stick light and flood light below the truck with me, but never felt the need to turn them on.

I got a 2 pack on Amazon a while back; I don't trust Temu.....

I do like that general type of light. They are a lot nicer vs a point light source when working under a car. Having tried both the design in the original post and the one in the link below, I prefer the design below. The OP's light works well but the part against my forehead heats up while in use. To me it feels odd. The type I prefer puts the battery pack in the back. I think it puts out maybe a bit more light. I don't care for the bright red tail lights. I've taken to unsoldering those both to save power and because I don't like them. I've given a pair of the ones below to a mechanic friend who found they worked really well for him. They aren't that durable but they are cheap enough that you can just get new ones when they fail. He liked having a few just so he could swap them when the batteries went out.

Note: I think I was paying under $15 for two. This listing isn't what I would consider a good price. It's just an example of the type.
