Hi, I have watched a couple of your videos. One day the washer was running fine in its wash cycle at the beginning of the wash. I decided to stop the machine during that first agitate cycle and bring the timer back around to start the wash cycle over. I did this to give the clothes more time to wash before the tub drained. When I went to pull the knob on the timer back out to start the cycle over, the machine failed to start and hasn't started since. Now the machine will not turn on in any of the cycles.
So far I have checked the lid switch, motor start capacitor, motor/transmission drive coupling, and motor rotation to make sure the motor and transmission are rotating freely. All checked out fine. I also checked the contacts on the timer to see if any of them were burned. They are fine. My next step is to check the motor start switch, but before I do that, I wanted to write this email to you asking you if you have any guesses to what the problem may be.
