I'm finally doing the build so I'm starting to try and get a plan on the floor situation. The problem is it isn't smooth, it has this kind of non slip texture that I absolutely hate when working under a car.

I plan on using some type of epoxy coat stuff.

So given that my floor has a 40 grit texture on it should I rent some kind of machine to knock down all that stuff or is there something else I can apply that will be thick enough to smooth it out?

Agree rent a diamond floor grinder to smooth it out and then float on it a 100% solids epoxy system similar to our Armorclad system.
