Well, finally after years of wishing and just regular "Jonesing", the real deal is finaly happening. I was fortunate to have what was considered a great gig with a 30 x 40 rental for 16 years on farm acreage. Now it is my turn to live the dream. We bought acerage just over a year ago, with the dream of having everything under one roof. I am living that dream as of November. We have an existing 30x36 building on the new property, and have added this year an additional 48x30 with a 17x10 mechanical room in between the two buildings. The cool thing is we followed the design of the house and original shop so the new addition fit right in. Working with the natural slope of the land, we were able to keep the roof height the same as the existing buildings for a very consistent appearance. Nothing says "atta boy" like 12' ceilings in the new digs. Here are the pics as we move toward the final result....Yipee!!
