Consider me an addict, if you must!

These are just my more recent additions. I also have the M18 Fuel circular saw and 1/2" high torque on the way.

It's very good, I have used it on and off on the 4.0XC for about a half hour.
It does what it's suppose to do. I like it. I use it when I go and hang flat screen TVs. It does a great job and the suction feels that of a standard shop VAC.:bounce:

Thanks. Gonna have to grab one. I'm almost totally cord-free on service calls and smaller jobs at this point. Need a cordless multi-tool too, but I was hoping for a Fuel version.

I've got so much Milwaukee, there's stuff I haven't even used yet. Grabbed these 2 a little while back when there was still US-made stuff to be had.

My ONLY complaint is that the optional handle on the drill cannot be moved to all sorts of positions like on the dewalt..where it slides on the ring. Don't even ask me how good the 1/2 impact is. :D

That 1/2" impact is HOT:bowdown:. Ask me how I know if you dare....lol
Gives my Ingersoll W7150 a run for its darn money.

I would keep the corded goodies as spares. I know they take up space but you never know. Someone may ask to borrow your cordless and all you have to do is dig a corded unit up and there you have it. :bounce: I don't like to loan out my tools but when I do it is and will always be a corded unit. People never take care of your stuff the way you would:eek:

Oh, that stuff's not going anywhere. I didn't believe for awhile that you could run an 18" ship auger in a cordless, but the Fuel's proved me wrong. Still, the corded will have a place, at least for awhile. I still don't drill out an entire house with my cordless, though some do.

Ain't that the truth! I go where my tools go, always.

The fuel line is very impressive.:bounce:
I have 9 or 10 M18 batteries and 7 or 8 M12 units that I have only used 2 of each:sad: it seems as if you only need two batteries and you are good.
I changed a timing chain in a 2005 Ford F150 5.4l V8, I used the M12 3/8" ratchet for everything except one bolt (Used 1/2" impact) only using the one battery for breaking the motor down, I checked the battery afterwards and I was still more than half full.
I put the chain on, guides and phasers and torqued everything to spec and buttoned the motor back up.
After all this the M12 was at half full:headscrat
Milwaukee will be the new trendsetter.

I got 2 m12 batteries and 3 m18 batteries and that's good enough for me

I personally would cut down on the batteries, to me its better to have less and keep them in rotation than have more and not use em

Damn.
You guys are killing me.
It was bad enough a few months ago when I went in to pick up my 18v hammer drill/driver for a warranty motor replacement.
The clerk was showing me all the new stuff.
I was almost in tears from the sensory overload of the potential hit my paychecks could take. Its unreal some of the stuff they have brought out.

Go to the store and play with them lol. The fuel line is very good. Don't get me wrong the older Milwaukee stuff is good just make sure you have the 2.0 battery or use and XC or XC 4.0 the fuels greatness comes into play when the computer aspect kicks in and plus its brushless.

Flood light :scared:
Please do tell how you like the flood light once you use it. I may get one, looks like its very good and rigid and rock solid. :wtf:

It's pretty stout, and it seems pretty bright. I live in the woods, in the middle of nowhere, so no light pollution at all. Can't wait to see what it looks like outside tonight.

It's also a little smaller than I thought it was going to be, which is good.

It'll be great for attics and crawlspaces, but also for working outside on the vehicles or whatever, or the next I have to pull the little lady out of a snowbank after dark. Probably bring it when I'm fishing late, to aid with loading the boat up and whatnot, and camping. Should be great.

Yeah ,
When he showed me the 1/4 " impact with 3 speeds and of course all 3 are variable , I was sold on the brushless.
He showed me the guts to the new brushless motor. Pretty cool.
The new cordless Sawzall is on the must have list.
Along with just about every damn thing else they make !

Same here. I got three M18 batteries, all XC (two 3.0 and one 4.0), for drill, 1/4 hex impact driver, and floodlight. I also have two M12 batteries (2.0) for the Stick Light.

I need to find a good deal on fuel sawzall.

y'all w/ M18 1/2" impact and M12 1/4" or 3/8", do you have air tools of same type, too?

Sawzall: best bet is ebay
I have the Ingersoll Rand air guns (2135ti 1/2" impact and the 2115ti 3/8") both are great. I can post a pic up.
The M18 Fuel 1/2" seems to have more power than the Old dog(2135ti) I have not used the new one Ingersoll has though.

I am a Telecom Engineer who loves to wrench on cars and truck and have been since I was little. I also hang TV's as a side business.
Being on site at times as a Tech I always end up on sites that require hammer drills and all the safety equipment: Hard hat, glasses and work boots. It's fun to me.:D
