after my KRL took a header, her replacement has started arriving. this came in a week ago actually, still waiting for the bottom.
the company saw it my way, and actually my manager used this to buy more shop tools, basically blamed me for a 8000 dollar debt on the budget, used my old KRL as a trade in, got 4000, used the other 4000 for some new pullers and things around the shop.

im the scapegoat, with a new toolbox.

and theres now a 'memorial' bridge welded in place over a 8' section of the grate.

now i just gotta buy back my trade in from my dealer....

I missed something along the way, how was this resolved. Who paid for the new box, the old post did not list a resolution.
Sweet looking box

Glad it all worked out for you. I wouldn't let anyone at your shop know you are looking into buying your old box back. Even though it might be fair game, that might cause some hard feelings.

im only joking.

two of my coworkers are looking at it though. i think it is very distasteful to the whole situation and dumb if you ask me to buy a comprimised piece.

Man I'm with you, I'd think your coworkers buying that old box wouldn't make them very popular with management to be reminded of that daily when they see it.

You really did deserve a new box, that old one should be crushed. I'm surprised the dealer would even resell it. It seems like selling a used trampoline, when the new owner breaks his leg he'll sue the guy he bought it from

I heard that on talk radio :) The lawyer said cut up the trampoline frame and sell it for scrap. That's the US though, maybe Canada is less litigous?

Anyway that's a gorgeous box man, I'm drooling over here! Congrats!
