Hey everyone. I've been to the site a couple times over the past few years, and I happened to stumble across it again today after finding some paint booth pictures on another site that originated here.

I'm currently deployed, and this site is really making me wish I was home to start some more projects! There are some really awesome ideas on here that I'm going to remember when it's time to build my dream house/garage. No need to re-create the wheel.

Anyway, great site. I look forward to talk with you all and share ideas.

A Good reason to keep your head down ! I didn't get my first house until I was 37, and it took me ten more years to build the barn. It is always worth the wait.

What kind of cars do you like ?

Thanks guys.

Prior to owning my first house, I rented a 2500 sq ft. shop in Abilene for dirt cheap. It wasn't a nice place, but it was huge, so I got really spoiled. I rebuilt/painted/lifted my '85 Toyota 4x4 there, among other projects.

We bought our first house and had to downsize to a 1.5 car garage, which housed only my projects. Our next house was another downsize in the garage department, but we were only there about 10 months before renting it out. Now I have a two car (barely) garage with a one car storage shed, but it's all packed full. Once I settle down someplace I hope my wife and I make some good money, cause I already have it spent!

I've always been into drag racing, I like the '60s Chevys and the mid '90s and up Chevys. My grandpa owned a Chevy dealership, so the whole family has always had orange blood. I really want to build a late model drag car before too long. I'd also like to build a hot rod one day - something enjoyable to drive on a long trip that the family and I could all enjoy.

This place is awesome just to get ideas to bank for when the time is right to build my shop. Really creative ideas on here, to say the least.
