Threaded insert for 1 1/4" LB

Does anyone make a pvc insert that will go directly into a 1 1/4" LB? The only ones I can find are female to female and need a short piece of 1 1/4" pvc to connect them. I need one that has female threaded end and a male glue in end.

I've never seen one that was size to size. They do make male slip to a thread female but only in reduced sizes and only in plumbing fittings.

I am trying to connect to the sub panel in my detached garage. I need to make it as short as possible.

Buy a stick of pipe that has the coupling formed into one end. That'll get you as close as possible.

OP, since you haven't explained what the real issue is I have to assume the pipe comes thru a "wall" and sticks out just far enough to get a coupling on. But that pvc LB when installed sticks out to far to get into the panel. If that's the issue I'd suggest to toss that glue on, get a Metal SLB and screw in a make adapter. That'll get you at least 1 to 1-1/2" closer to the wall.

If that assumption is wrong a picture would really help.

I found one on a site called plumbingsupply.com. It was called a 1 1/4 spigot to 1 1/4 FIPS female adapter.

I doubt either of those are listed for electrical use.

FIPS and spigot are plumbing terms not electrical

I don't have an issue with plumbing fittings assuming they are similar to the electrical variant. I've used white 4" couplings and pipe in a pinch since they are much easier to find then electrical fittings in those sizes.

That was underground though, in a wall would be ok too. I wouldn't do where it was visible, somebody would make fun of it

How far away are you from Owasso, OK?
