Anybody had luck with doing it? Im looking to lay some tile down outside. For the most part it has a roof over it but it still gets wet. Anything special I need to know... One guy told me the only thing I needed was some special thinset and tile that had a texture... Am I in for any surprises?

Biggest concern is freeze/thaw. If water can migrate under the tile, or under the slab it's set on, and you get a feeze/thaw cycle, the expansion/contraction can pop or crack the tiles. Check with a local tile supply house, one that deals mostly with contractors, as they'll be more familiar with the local conditions, and can advise whether to use an anti-fracture membrane.
