I did this on another forum a couple years ago, decided to do it here.

Its time to clean off the workbench when....
You build another workbench because it is less labor intensive than cleaning off the current one

The calendar on the wall says 1984, because that's the last time you were able to get close enough to it to change the date

You still have the owners manual for the car you sold back in '89

The can of your favorite beverage looks nothing like the can sitting on your workbench, it has had 3 logo changes

I still have the owner's manual for the car I bought in 1970, but that car is still in my garage and the manual is in the glovebox. Actually, that car has been in my garages for over 42 years, and I've gone through a lot of work benches in that time.

Thankfully not mine. Claims the flies come in the gaps in the siding to get warm and then head for the windows, where they are trapped. This is about 6 months worth.
