Yea hopefully we can keep this calm and on point. I would rather this not get locked.... I think a few hundred people who entered deserve at least some sort of an answer.

The whole thing was a crazy mess. I think the guy felt very generous at first but realized how many thousands of dollars he was giving away and got cold feet and high tailed it out of here.:willy_nil

well he said his girl friend/fiance can read through the BS in a min. hun...??? well the big question is 1) where is this guy ?? 2) where is his BS reader ?? 3) is this some kind of game he's trying play on the people from here ?? 4) did she read through his BS and now he's gone MIA because he's a BSer ??? you know that anything that sounds to good to be true, is just that..... maybe he's a stand up guy thats just fell apart, gone into hiding, got married, lost his dog and is gone on a world wide hunt for it, killed his ex-wife's mother and is in jail, fell in a well and is waiting for lassie to hind him, got skeeard and sold those two boxes, i'm just saying ....... he might be a stand up guy, not just some BSer with no heart or soul, now that would be weak, a real PUNK.......

looking at it, and how he hasnt logged in in 6 months, my guess is he split, decided itwas easier to sell them and more profitable.

So glad u all think that way. I was wondering too. I know what I think. I will keep it to myself, not wanting to side rail the thread. He may have been overwhelmed or it maybe was a hoax.
I feel sorry for most of the posters. It is the Internet though. I do know some of the posters had some real sad stories.

I am giving a cool box away with tools on another forum. Albeit the box is not a 7K box, it is very cool, and new, and new and used truck brand tools are filling it up! I would hate to think that the green ones ruined the spirit of giving. I donate tools to schools, mechanics who were injured, and I like to think that paying it forward is the way to be.

Tool giveaways are really a great way to promote business, meet and make new friends, and come in contact with some of the best people in the industry.

Maybe the guy is in the hospital. Or health problems where he could not follow through. I would hope though, that he would have at least mentioned what is going on. I hope he is okay. But I also hope he updates this thread here.

The thread was stickied, then not stickied. Maybe locked I can't remember Then every time it comes up the thread gets deleted. This one will be to.

My vote is for the mods to give some closure on this and let us know to drop it.

The guy is not giving away two pristine KRL's. How on earth does one decide who is worthy?

this giveaway is real and worth finding. there is a great amount of satisfaction from giving and it isn't half bad to recieve when the gift is given with respect from someone who cares enough to give it.

sadly most people are only interested in take.
