I've had an RSS feed to do a craigslist search about every 15 minutes for about a year now hoping to snag a deal like that but here I've seen similar units going for almost $2k or single 36" bottom cabinet going for $1k. I just havn't lucked up on anything. I also have had so many of the we will need to run this transaction through ebay scams I finally just got fed up with it.

I talked with Shannon at strictlytoolboxes a week or so ago and there are some units on backorder that are in the size range I want so I'm waiting to see what pans out there. I didn't want to settle for something beacause what i want is out of stock. Meanwhile I did however get a hit on a local top and bottom snapon. Models are KRA4114 and KRA4107. I'm going to try to get a look at them this week. What should I be looking for? It was used by a mechanic and the boxes where purchased new in 2004. How do these compare to the montezuma and extreme tool boxes? I also read a little about the KRL series but I think even used they will be priced out of my range for a weekend wrench. But what is different on the KRL that would be missing on a KRA?

my advice would be to go with the hf us general boxes, best value for you buck and should be ok for your type of use.i would definitly stay away from the crapsmen and kobalt junk they call boxes.
