Be sure to put little Snap-on stickers on all of your tools also. Maybe a few Matco and Cornwell just to show that you're into truck brands but not an SO snob.

When you sell it you can list it as: SO Service Cart - filled with tools - mostly Snap-on, some Matco, etc.

but its ok when you do it for kicks like when pop put a lincoln hood ornament on his golf cart

LOL...agreed. I have an old Mercedes hood ornament that I've been contemplating installing on the hood of my JD lawn tractor but don't have the guts to drill the hole in the hood! maybe someday after I've had a few....

Others have suggested where to get the badges, and you expressed your desire not to here other peoples opinions. Yet I am still going to give mine. You have gotten a sampling of folks that are pro-truck brand tools from this very thread. I would choice to make a statement by leaving the US General badge on it. When others try to ridicule you, open the cart and show them all the tools that you were able to get with the money you saved from buying a good quality cart that does everything you need. You could even cover the front with twenty dollar bills and still come out cheaper.

if you search around you can find the parts to make it a believe able snap on box. I found someone selling the logo, with the serial number plate off the back of their box. While I didn't buy it, who's to say you couldn't at that point sell your $400 HF unit for triple that amount to some guy that doesn't know any better... not what I would do, but you get the drift.

Yeah, because the most off-brand tool I own is Craftsman. And I have more tools than will fit in this service cart and my box.

I dislike the US General emblems on my toolbox and I may be replacing them with a
non-Tool brand emblem at some point, maybe something Whimsical.

I disliked the emblems on my craftsman and harbor freight boxes so I just removed them. Don't plan on ever replacing them with anything either. Debadged looks better.
