I have a set of the Hellfrauds pro ratchet spanners and they've been very good. My stuff is a mixture of all sorts, I have a US made socket set I bought from Costco, Mastercraft I think, my torque wrench is a Sykes-Pickavent, some Sealey stuff, some Halfords and some older off brand stuff. I try and buy the best I can afford but that doesn't run to Snap-on etc. I may well spend some time this summer scouring car boot sales for older tools, usually plenty around if you're happy to scuffle through odd boxes under tables etc. Buying tools over here isn't as easy as it was but we have a good local engineering suppliers called K Supplies who stock a good range of pro quality tools.
