That's why nobody will ever make a living selling TOPTUL in America. TOPTUL has zero understanding of the American market and the American market is just too tough to get into in a serious way without total commitment from TOPTUL and trust me that's never going to happen. This is a time killing hobby for me and will always remain as such. That's reality.
I've said this before, but this guy is right which is a shame because I've been buying Toptul products for over a decade and none have failed. I tried several times to become a distributor. Toptul HQ wanted an absurd amount of up front inventory bought and then, they wouldn't allow special orders of single items--items that one person may want but that are of no use or too expensive for the general customer.
Additionally, I couldn't get someone in Taiwan to understand how a large shipping boat can make it into the center of Oklahoma--we have several ports that allow travel from either coast, and the Gulf, up into Catoosa Port which is ten minutes from my house. I was going to have to drive to California with a cargo truck, and then drive back.
I have never been unhappy with a Toptul product. I just wish they allowed direct ordering like Nepros.net. There are things all companies could learn from the Japanese. I get items from Japan super fast, and any question I have is answered in 24 hours.
Dennis is great to deal with--he's so efficient I get my orders in the mail almost instantly.
That finish is unique to TOPTUL. They call it "Water Satin."
They do make a mirror chrome and it is really nice. That said, I prefer the satin as it ages better. You can tell when a chrome socket has been used day in and day out. Satin--not so much.
