torpedo heater problems

i have a buddy that has a very large torpedo heater. not sure the size but its a big SOB.

it will light but not stay running. i say its the filter as he runs diesel on it.

any thoughts???

I'd sure drain out the Diesel and put new fuel in and give it a try. Clean the filter, the pump and the pickup tube.

thats what i told him. but he is the kinda guy that thinks he knows all and everyone else is stupid. so he thinks it in the wiring.

hell if it was the wiring i don't think it would work at all.

check and clean the flame sensor.
