On Tuesday evening I requested a Wright Catalog from TR Tool Supply, here we are just 3 business days later, and I am holding the catalog in all it's glory, USPS priorty shipped and all! I have to say, this is the fastest I have ever recieved a product catalog.(And there was a GearWrench catalog tossed in to boot! I asked him to toss in any extra catalogs he felt like tossing in)

As for the catalog itself, it is very well laid out, has lots of great information beyond trying to sell you on Wright, it is just great information about the tool itself. Has lots of good saftery tips, usage tips, and so forth. You ever see a tool in a catalog and wonder what the heck it is? That hasn't happened so far, and as usual, my second stop in the catalog was the specialty stuff in the back.

Another amazing thing I noticed was that it doesn't look like they rebrand. If you buy something made by someone else out of the catalog, it is branded by the OEM. No wondering if that screw driver was really made by company A, or if that T handle torx is company B.

Most of all, it is a million times better than looking at the tools on Wrights website. The layout is easy to follow and understand, has great pictures, you really understand what you are looking at and would be buying. Out of all the different tool catalogs I have, this looks to be the best so far.

Now, time to wipe the drool off the pages so I can read the part #'s and get an order put together!

Nope, I just asked him to toss in any other catalogs he felt like tossing in. They deal in more than just Wright tools, but finding a Wright dealer is hard, so that is what TR Supply is known for around here.

If I had a camera and computer I would. All I have is a blackberry I got from work, I sell cell phones right now part time while in school, and I get online with the work computer and school computers, none of which allow uploads, and my BB camera is about as useful as your imagination.

If I remember the next time I am at my brothers place, I will borrow his camera and computer.

So a lovely package from TR Tool Supply, aka Richard, was waiting for me when I got home today. I ordered not even a week ago from him a set of metric combo's, 7mm-24mm, in the satin finish, and then added in one of the 3/8 in 1/4 ratchets on Monday, so really the order was placed Monday... that is fast shipping if you ask me!

My lady found the package when she got home from work, and opened it up for me... her first comment, "That ratchet is so cute!"

Here are a couple pics I took quickly, bad lighting, and the such so only a few for the moment, I will get some better ones tomorrow or Saturday when I have time to pull out the work light and mess around with ISO settings.

I also want to say thank you very much to Richard for his to notch customer service and professionalism! I made an order change last second, and he took it in stride like it was nothing, and still delivered faster than I thought was possible! I can't wait to test these bad boys out!

I have that same set of combo wrenches. I also bought the SAE set. Very nice. This was after I returned my c'man raised panel wrenches.

It retails for just under $340. Which is a killer price considering these are on par with SO, Corn, etc.

If you are interested in a set, go to http://www.trtoolsupply.com and contact them for a quote. You can also find some NOS on the interwebs for a bit less, but it looks to be the older handle style that is much more rounded... so I can't say how well those feel, but fit and finish should still be tops on them.

My honest opinion is that these are the best combo's on the market. They also have a chrome style that is mirror finish just like SO et al, but I like the satin for the added grip when my hands are greasy.

They do not make a metric with with wright grip at this time. I am OK with that, since they really don't need it, and the work I do can't leave marring on fasteners... high end euro cars, the owners are a bit nuts about little things like that. So far those open ends have been perfect! I even used them on some flare nuts on brake lines that were getting replaced with stainless, and they did a better job than the flare nut wrenches I have. Strong, very strong!

The closed end has the Wright Drive gen 2, which gives those 12pt box ends the same contact make up of some 6pt sockets. I have yet to have any issue with the closed ends either.

All in all, I am still very happy with my purchase! Only draw back is that the other guys in the shop keep asking to borrow them for this and that, and most of them have tool truck for every last tool in their box, they just like the way they feel in their hands that much.
