I was thinking it might be helpful to have a subforum where buyers and sellers of stuff on this board could post their comments about the person they bought from or sold to.

Nothing fancy, one of the other forums I frequent does something like this- it's basically an open forum where the first person to make comments on another person starts a thread where the title is simply the other persons username. Then they post up brief comments about how the transaction went- maybe a link to the original FS post if applicable.

Then, if you have comments to make about someone, you just search the forum titles for the username in question and add to that thread, or start a new thread if there are no comments about a particular user.

I haven't been around this board long, but it seems like a pretty close-knit group and I haven't seen any mention of anyone being scammed by another board member- but.....

So, what do you guys think?

We do post comments in the sale section. It is working quite well the way is now IMO and I think if you went to a ebay style feedback thing it would be negative not possitive.
My .02 and I'm done. :)

This is a great idea. I used to frequent www.katriders.com and did a lot of selling there. They had a system called iTrader that was a feedback system much like E-Bays. That forum looks just like this one and I assumed it was part of the forum software. Perhaps it can be added on...

So I guess the mods aren't interested in a buyer/feedback system like many other forums have?

I've noticed that a few brand spanking new members have been popping up in the classified section trying to buy and sell stuff...
