have tried posting pics of some various things recently... tried from 2 different laptops.... and a lan connected pc... photos taken from my cell, moved to a folder on puter then tried up loading..... keep getting this message

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."

my actions were... logging on to group, going to the forums/ tools section open general tools, then select start new thread... title thread... then select my attachments and wait....

I have had the same problem. I have tried every thing. I don't know how to make them smaller. I posted them on photo bucket and then tried to download them and it still didn't work. I just gave up.

I use a free program caller irfanview.....

It's very easy to use (after all, I can do it!) and works a treat, I use 600X800 as my default setting, that way pics are big enough to see detail yet not to big for the forum.

Once you have resized them, you can either send them to an online photo storage site like Photobucket (I hate all of them and never use them, personally) or you can upload them to this site and save them in your own albums, then link to them in your posts. You'll find "pic and albums" under User CP (control panel) tab at the top of the page.

Here's one that's in my albums, for example.....

You Tube is a wonderful resource these days to learn how to do just about anything, go there and type in a search for resizing photos using (your preferred program) and I'll bet you'll get a tutorial on how to do it.

Here's an example for how to do it in Irfanview
