Uvex Safety Glasses

I've been in the oil and gas business for years and the company I work for has always provided my safety glasses. My companies standard issue are from Uvex. I've been using these for years. But, I just wanted to say that as I've grown older so have my eyes and the need for sharper sight is required. I don't wear regular glasses (although I probably should) I just wanted all to know that there are safety glasses available that have magification, same as the drug store bought. Since I'm on the transition between no corrective lense and a needing real glasses, I just wanted to pass this on. I'm sure there are other mfg that offer a similiar product. Ain't it tuff getting old.... No matter what, they help.

I have a pair of the Uvex's with 1.5 bifocal lenses. They really help.

I have prescription safety glasses, so I don't buy them, but I do have a Uvex bionic face shield. My god do I love it. I went from NEVER wearing a face shield because they pissed me off so much, to wearing it every time I pick up a die grinder, angle grinder, use the bench grinder, belt sander, anything. They're awesome, don't hesitate to spend the money.
