I'm gonna forego reading the buzillion threads on the subject of flooring options (A.D.D.dddddbbboring) and just ask which I should go with . Here's what I got. My wifes 24x14 basement pantry, bare power trowelled concrete floor with finished sheetrock walls. Obviously power washing is not an option and anything other than wet moping would have to be done with the utmost care not to get the sheet rock wet. I know prep is key to adhesion in the epoxy systems but are all the grinding, acid etching and power washing needed for light foot traffic? Also the concrete was not saw cut so it has spidering hairline cracks that I'm assuming would need addressed in the epoxy scenerio. Should I just go with the vct (my choice) and avoid all the epoxy (her choice) hassles???? Thanks
