VCT Tiles and machinery?

Will VCT Tiles hold up to heavier machinery such as Lathes and Mills? I would like to place a tile checker board pattern in the back of my shop where the Lathe, Mill, and a few work benches will be. Not huge machines, just a 9"X48" mill and a 18"X52" lathe. Room is 22'x25'. Wondering if the tiles will buckle or "curl" under the weight.

Thanks James L.

I'd be willing to bet they would get mishaped and buckle. Just install the tiles around the machinery legs. Might be a little extra work with the cutting and fitting, but it would look good.
