Hello!
I found a vintage(or at least i think it is)Craftsman double bit axe that has never been used at my grandfather's old house. Still has the plastic bit covers on it! It has the Craftsman registered trademark on the axe head itself and the wooden handle has "Craftsman 50411" stamp on it. I am trying to find out the approximate age of this axe but there are no other markings on the axe or handle that i have found. Does anyone know how to tell the age of this axe? I am extremely curious because i want to know if it actually was purchased by my grandfather or someone else. He died in the mid 90's and i am really thinking that it belonged to him because he was a farmer.
Thanks!!

Need pictures or a detailed description of the craftsman logo. The style of logo has changed through the years and it's a good way to estimate age.
